$200
Helsel Music will create individual guiding tracks, a director’s conducting video, and embedded sheet music for each performance part. The director will need to provide a graphic file of each performance part.
*Instrumental ensembles will have a virtual representation of the performance instrument for the guiding track.
*Vocal ensembles will have their parts performed by a sustained instrument. If you would like live voices for your guided track, as displayed in the example video below, there will be an additional $50 charge for up to SSAATTBB divisi.
Directors have the option to collaborate virtually to create ensemble preparation materials or to come to the studio to create their guide tracks and conducting video. Please contact Helsel Music Services for availability.
Recommendations
If you are creating your own preparation materials (ie. purchasing from a publisher, or creating your own guide tracks), a digital score and copy of preparatory materials need to be provided to Helsel Music in order to sync the audio files.
Create a google drive or dropbox as a repository for participants to submit their files.
Preview all video submissions before Helsel Music begins the mix down.
It is crucial that the recordings submitted are only the voice/instrument of the participant and not the rehearsal track, so singers and instrumentalists must wear headphones or earbuds while they record.
Consider how you would like participants to dress and how they should frame their video.
It is recommended that all videos are recorded horizontally (Landscape mode).
It is recommended that the participants record with a solid background and wear a solid top for a clean looking video
Please send any school/organization logos, names of participants, and other desired visual files for the video.
Timeline
Please allow three weeks from the time when all videos are submitted to when the final product is available.
During the interim, please be available for communication to approve audio and video drafts prior to the final cut.
